But the copyright on the video says 2007... I take it that no auto manufactures have bitten yet.

I'm thinking the problem is........curbs.

I really liked the ease of getting the baby out of the car seat. I remember putting my son in his car seat (22 years ago) and somehow managing to slam the door shut, locked, on my left hand. I keep my keys in my left pocket. So there I am, in pain, hand trapped, trying to dig my keys out with my right hand. (And thinking all the time, "Don't drop the keys! Don't drop the keys!) This looks much easier!!!
(In my defense, I was averaging 3 hours of sleep a day, so my coordination left a little something to be desired! LOL)
Thank God it was a Ford Escort. A '69 Buick woulda chopped my hand off!

I like it, but where do you stand when you need to take a whiz along the highway?

I remember (just) dad's old 28 Chev truck with a ply cab and wheat sack doors on a hook.

My VW country buggy eschews any notion of doors...

Strictly Bauhaus all the way.

Maybe Manuel took it.

Very silly idea It's a joke right?, what would you do in a storm, I can just see the littles strapped into their car seats, getting drenched while mum struggles between the idea of saving the upholstery or the children.
