Heh,
Another dating advice thread.
It's bernie's fault :D

I signed up to RSVP.
someone sent me a "Kiss" Blah

We emailed a bit,
I got busy with my mum being sick and let it drop.

a month later I emailed again to apologise.
He said he was glad I had'nt disappeared and we exchanged a few more farely length emails
I told him My house would soon be sold and split on settlement.
I told him I have 2 teenagers and about Liams disability.
He gave me his number.

After recent events with my ex, I got a bit depressed and dropped the whole idea of dating, (I don't trust my judgement very well anymore.) I My blocked contact emails.

Well he's back and sent me a RSVP generic message about wishing to continue.
He's pretty low key, no pressure, just meet and have a chat sort of thing.
seems nice.

Ahh, I dont know.

He seems pretty relaxed and amused about the "meat market" style of RSVP.

Should I ring him?

I suppose sometimes I feel pretty insecure and old.
Why would a reasonably presentable, fit, financially secure man, one year younger, want to date Me?

OK, I'm paranoid :D

If ever a thing cried out for a cut-n-paste reply, this is it.

Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice;
Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment.
Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy,
But not express'd in fancy; rich, not gaudy;
For the apparel oft proclaims the man,
And they in France of the best rank and station
Are of a most select and generous, chief in that.
Neither a borrower nor a lender be;
For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell. My blessing season this in thee!

He's trolling in order to rip you off. Do a meet and greet then a background check. Jest sayin'...

You're a bastard rick :D

Anyway, I jumped the gun and rang him anyway.
he was surprised but sounded pleased i'd called and said so.
we chewed the fat a bit about kids, blokes, not discussing EXes :D.
he told me he's off to las vagas in a couple of weeks with his bro for a wedding and WILL be bad and visit the titty bars.:D
I just laughed and said go for it.

I suggested he meet me at the market on sunday but he says he's doing a car rally
with his girls (now who could make that up on the spot? :D)

I gave him my email and he promised to email me tonight.

Looks promising :D
At least not a wanker :D

To put off a date for any female family member is a green flag. Even the mention of a stripper bar visit @ LV is a yellow flag. Is it him or his brother getting married?

seems you got a captive audience; I am trying to figure out why one of these unmarried folks aint started turning your head. It's not like ladies who actually understand boat money grow on bloody trees.
