Has anyone ordered Doug Hylan's modernized plans for Coquina? What does that package contain? Has anyone seen any photos of the glued lap version?

Cool! I didn't know you could get plans for Coquina anywhere! Check 'em out here. (http://www.dhylanboats.com/index2.html) That's one lovely boat.

Oh, man, I hadn't heard that Doug was doing that. Have a look at the drawings on Doug's web site:
www.dhylanboats.com/index2.html (http://www.dhylanboats.com/index2.html)
According to the site, the plans include 11 very detailed drawings. Plus, for an extra $50 you can get a CD with 500 photos, showing construction in both lapstrake ply and traditional construction.
