Hey guys, does anyone out there know how to obtain plans for Holman's Stella 26? I tried the Class Assoc., but never received a reply.

I got this note from Graeme, who's not a member of the forum:

Hi,
I'm not a registered user of the Woodenboat forum, so can't post this, so maybe you can post it for me in case anyone else is interested? The Twister association gave me this address for Holman and Pye about 6 months ago, though they were's sure if it was still current. I've not got around to trying yet:

Holman & Pye,
62 East Road,
West Mersea,
Colchester,
CO5 8HD

+44 01206 382478

They said they thought it was someone called David Cooper who dealt with enquiries of this sort.

If you have any success contacting them, can you post on the forum? I keep meaning to try and obtain plans for a Holman 26, a slightly later derivative of the Stella.

Good luck,

Graeme

More info: apparently the plans of Holman & Pye for Stella, and Twister, are less than 50 British Pounds.

We are restoring a Stella and have dyelines of two original plans, and one of the tender, which came with the boat. I have scanned them for safe-keeping and could send PDFs by email, subject to copyright. They are not particularly detailed though. The contact details are correct and David Cooper is helpful. I call him on his mobile +44 7742524232.
