Hi,

I live in Québec. I would like to buy a little wooden sailboat, from 17' to 22' feet. The point is that... there is not a lot of wooden boat here, so i am looking on the internet to find ads. I believe that Nova Scotia and Maine would be the places to find this type of boat?
Does anyone could give me some advice on where to look? Is there brokers, or website, or anything else I should know?

thank you, i am quite lost

Would you like to have one built?...or fix up an old one?...orfind a good used one? My Rhodes 18 is a great boat.

There's a nice 26' D.C. Bud McIntosh raised deck sloop on the New Hampshire Craigs List for only $5000 asking price. She's in Rye, N.H.

I recommend you pick up a copy of our hosts fine publication and browse the back section. Plenty of boats for sale, and plenty of folks willing to build you one.

When I was shopping I watched craigslist, ebay, and yachtworld. Maine, Boston and Cape Cod craigslists are good for wood boats. Be careful about the condition of any boat you buy.

Thank you everybody!

JMAC: I'd like to find a good used one because I would like to sail her this summer. Also, I need a stable boat because water is around 5 degrees celsius here! dangerous to capsize...
