Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

Are you talking about the book by that title written by Gene Logsdon? It's great!! We learned a lot about managing manure from that book. :D

The Frumious Bandersnatch taught you about manure?

Not the Fruminous Bandersnatch...the Contrary Farmer. Not that there's much of a difference.

Ehhh, I got bit by the ides of March, all right. Had to take the morning off to bring my older offspring to an oral surgeon about an hour away from here, ostensibly to pull a bad molar which cause her immense pain yesterday. Not only has the pain gone away, but the oral surgeon refused to do the job, since she's 25 weeks pregnant, and can't have an x-ray or any meaningful anaesthetic.... wasted drive, morning shot.

An hour later, a call from my 87 year old mother, with a very bad case of bronchitis, and she needs me to go pick up her antibiotic prescription and bring it to her.... another hour and a half shot.

I think i'll go home and take a nap.

I believe Julius Caesar would say you got off easy. :D

All I know is that Oystagirl and I both arrived home (within a couple minutes of each other) thinking it was such a nice day, it was time for drinks in the porch. Or as I put it on Facebook, "Cry 'Hammock!' and let slip the drinks of spring!"

It wasn't until after she asked me where the original line was from that I realized how appropriate it was to the day. :D

:D Very good.

Just lucky, mostly. That pint glass o' margarita went down OK, though!
