Nutshell or shellback; which tender would tow behind a 32 foot sloop better? Or is there a better option?

Take a look at the bolger nymph. Mike O'Brien who had one for years says great things about them. I widened mine by 6" on the bottom amd bow and stern transoms (Im over 200lb)and it is awesome. Rows and tows beautifully.

I use a Peapod 13'4" x 4'5" I believe it was designed by Jim Steele at D.N. Hylan & Associates.
My grandfather built her about 35 yrs ago, we still use her every season. It tow's very well behind our 32' Ericson, no surging or yawling behind the boat at all.
Unlike the flat bottomed tender we tried one year, yawled over, rail kissed the water, whoops over she goes  . They don't tow well upside down :( .
I'm pretty sure there's a picture of some Peapods in one of the WoodenBoat Calanders, don't have one here a work, I'll check on it later.

Nice photo of peapods being towed in the Mendlowitz Calendar of Wooden Boats, February 2005.

See this thread (http://www.woodenboat-ubb.com/cgi-bin/UBB/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=6&t=003889&p=) for a recent discussion of tenders.

There was a good 3-part article about building Doug Hylan's Beach Pea peapod in WB #133, #134, and #135. Seems like a great tender for towing, but might be a hard to find a place for it on deck.

I've towed my Beach Pea from Cape Cod to Rockland, ME. There's less drag than my Dyer dingy and she never surfs into Redwing. Rows like a dream, but at 13 feet you might have a hard time getting her on deck.
