The price is very low !
Looks like a few gouges in the planking but it looks in pretty good nick. A look in the bilges would be the clincher I think. I have always like the Vertue.

Probably the best British design of that size .
I'm not sure they're even gouges. Looks like antifoul applied over flaky antifoul to me - lazy. The boat looks okay, maybe a bit neglected. I like Vertues.

Boat prices in NZ seem quite low. The H28 Greg posted was quite cheap as well and apparently in fine condition.I'd prefer the Vertue though.
I have a friend who sailed a Vertue out from Britain. They're certainly fine boats. There was a fantastic Vertue at the last WB Festival in Hobart. We thought it was the best boat there but only because Shamus was too lazy to put Ronita in that time.

There's a bit of interesting stuff on Trademe at the moment, though I try not too look. ;)
An Atkin Vilasar (cutter rigged) and one of (the first) Chichester's yachts.
