[Franklin]Graham, the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham and CEO of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, split hairs when MSNBC's "Morning Joe" host Willie Geist asked him point blank if he believed Obama was a Christian.

"You have to ask President Obama" Graham said . . . Later, Graham gave a different answer when he was asked if GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum was a Christian.

"I think so," Graham said, adding that Santorum's "values are so clear on moral issues."

In another segment, Graham suggested that Obama cared more about Muslims than Christians and that Islam had received a "free pass under Obama.

"All I know is under Obama, President Obama, the Muslims of the world, he seems to be more concerned about them than the Christians that are being murdered in the Muslim countries," he said.

Graham was ripped by the White House for similar comments last April, when he questioned Obama's faith and said he wasn't sure whether he was born in the U.S.

II. Muslim environmentalist

Rick Santorum’s spokeswoman Alice Stewart said in a TV interview on Monday that Santorum was referring to President Barack Obama’s “radical Islamic policies” when he said the president’s agenda was driven by “phony theology” — but then quickly called up MSNBC after the segment aired to say she misspoke.

“There is a type of theological secularism when it comes to the global warmists in this country. That’s what he was referring to. He was referring to the president’s policies in terms of the radical Islamic policies the president has,” Stewart said on “Andrea Mitchell Reports.”

Mitchell later said on the air that Stewart phoned the show after the interview to say she had slipped up and said “radical Islamic policies” instead of Obama’s “radical environmental policies.”

III. Phony theology environmentalist Christian

For someone running for secular office, the former Pennsylvania senator has expressed a lot of thoughts about Catholicism, Christianity and religion in general, but even many of his supporters must have been surprised when he denounced President Obama as embracing a "phony theology" during a recent campaign appearance in Ohio. A spokesman explained that Mr. Santorum believes the president to be Christian but that his political ideology was discredited because it would deny individual rights in favor of government control.

But wait, that wasn't it at all. The explanation provided by the candidate himself later was that he wasn't talking about Mr. Obama's Christianity or vague generalities about Big Brother but specifically about "radical" environmental policy. "We're not here to serve the Earth. That is not the objective. Man is the objective," he told a CBS interviewer.

Glad to see you are cleaning up your ad hominey. Or at least an attempted disguise. But.....t.....tt..if you think you need that ADh to make a point about Sanatarium then you don't have much of a point visible outside your ADh. Another words you coulda titled your thread almost anything else, and made ya point, but it seems you want the focus of your thread to be on your stupidity and not Sanatarium's. Your star is fading out Osborne, a quick burn, seen a million of um in the dark desert sky.

April 25, 2010, 3:00 pm Obama Visits the Rev. Billy Graham

By PETER BAKER (http://forum.woodenboat.com/author/peter-baker/)MONTREAT, N.C. – President Obama (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/o/barack_obama/index.html?inline=nyt-per) ventured to the mountaintop on Sunday to visit the Rev. Billy Graham (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/g/billy_graham/index.html?inline=nyt-per), becoming the 12th commander in chief to meet the famed pastor to the presidents.
“Reverend Graham has obviously been an important spiritual leader for past presidents and for the American people for decades,” said Bill Burton, a White House spokesman. “He’s a real treasure for our country. The president appreciates the opportunity to visit him at his home.”
Mr. Obama brought his motorcade to Mr. Graham’s log cabin home on the way to the airport after a weekend break in nearby Asheville with his wife, Michelle (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/o/michelle_obama/index.html?inline=nyt-per), and several Chicago friends. The two met for about a half hour in private, without news cameras, but Mr. Burton said they “had a private prayer.”
The visit came at an awkward moment. The military last week rescinded an invitation to Mr. Graham’s son, Rev. Franklin Graham (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/g/franklin_graham/index.html?inline=nyt-per), to lead a prayer service at the Pentagon on the National Day of Prayer on May 6, citing his comments about Islam. The younger Mr. Graham has called Islam evil and offensive. Mr. Burton said the younger Mr. Graham was present during the meeting with the president but did not say whether the topic of the canceled invitation came up.
The elder Mr. Graham, 91, has remained largely out of sight in recent years as he ages but met or ministered to every president since Harry S Truman (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/t/harry_s_truman/index.html?inline=nyt-per). Mr. Obama first tried to meet him when visiting the state in 2008 for the presidential campaign, but Mr. Graham was not able to see him. When Mr. Obama called him last November to wish him a happy birthday, they renewed their discussion of a meeting, and when the president decided to take a break here this weekend, the White House called to request a stop.

Mr. Obama is the first sitting president to actually come to Mr. Graham’s home here nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. After the meeting, the president headed to the airport to fly to Beckley, W.Va., where he will deliver a eulogy at a memorial service for 29 coal (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/subjects/c/coal/index.html?inline=nyt-classifier) miners killed in an explosion earlier this month. The first lady is flying home to Washington separately.

Sounds like Obama can check this off the list now. Let's see if Graham wants to retract his statements. No? Well, OK, but how about you just STFU.
