I found a wooden boat. On a layover this morning and spotted this in a park.

Looks to be a heavy-duty boat, especially that bumper at the waterline.

A ferry or boat-for-hire of some kind?

BTW, where was the layover, and did you note the name of the park? Somebody here might be 'local' to it.

It's downtown at Heartland Park. Looks like its used to give rides around the lake in warmer weather.

If you're speaking of Omaha Nebraska, you only have to look at the boat just to the right of the WBF logo above to know that there are/were wooden boats in Omaha Nebraska... :) :(
