I busted my glasses last week and had to get new ones. So I decided to try the Crizal Lenses which I'd seen advertised on TV.

Well, are these an improvement. My old one I couldn't keep clean, these ones I can't seem to get dirty. Also, remember my rant a while back about
blinding glare from the new auto headlights? Well thats not really a problem anymore. I just drove 45 miles back to Vancouver, (a lot of traffic both ways) and didn't really have any problem with oncoming headlights. In fact I was so confident I started driving on the wrong side of the road with my high beams on just to get back at them.
As you can see in this ad, they are good if your towing a water skier because you can see the sharks about to eat him.

They cost an extra $120.00 for them. It's a coating. I think it is worth it.

May be something to consider next time your due for new glasses.

( Google Crizel and all sorts of information will come up.

Yep. I've had them for about 3 years. Lighter and thinner than the previous ones. They keep figuring out how to get a higher index out of plastic lenses.

Kind of pricey, but if I get back into water skiing I'm going to buy a pair for the spotter.

I had them, and they do make a big difference.
