My Dad and I have ordered the plans from down under and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this design? We recieved a nice longhand letter from Mr.Floyd and I think the boat will turn out nicely. But he stated in the letter that he was really too far away to be helpful with questions that may arise.

I got a letter from him as well. Nice enough fellow - long hand. Talked of it being "mystical"... I did note that Salty Heaven was sold by him recently on an Aussie website. It was for sale and then a few weeks later listed as sold.

Yeh, he kinda struck me as a hippie back to the simple existance guy too. And as he would not be communicating other than through long handwritten letters it would probably slow the building of the boat down some if there was a question or three...

Hey Cap.
Dad said the sheetplans came in the mail today. He says they are too small to read accurately(but he is in his 60's) :D . Going to have my little sis take them into work and have them enlarged on the plotter.
