Hello....I have a 1912 Luders Motor Yacht....its the last of its kind and I need a Reliable Boat Rebuilder ( Albany N.Y. ) to rehab the Hull ! I've thought about Fiberglassing but that would dimminish the Value of the Boat!!!

Rehab the hull? You're right about fiberglassing...don't do it. It's tough to give advice without really knowing whats wrong. If you're looking for a qualified shipwright, then maybe some one in this group can help in finding the right guy in your area.

I would personally recommend you contact Mike McEvoy of Battenkill Boatworks in Greenwich N.Y. which is not far from Albany. Mike's e-mail address is mcevoyboat@hotmail.com and his phone nmber is 518-692-9623. Mike actually apprenticed with Pete Culler and is very skilled in wooden boat construction.

The Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY can be found at http://www.abm.org , but they would most likely refer you to Dan Sutherland, who teaches a lot there, and has a number of boats in their collection. Dan does business in Hammondsport as Sutherland Boat and Coach, but I don't have a phone number for you. He's not web enabled either, as far as I know.

Besides sailing canoes and Rushton repros, he also does power boats. Here's an example:
