Does anyone know where I can get a track to fasten to the 18'6 mast that I must build so that my sail will lower and raise like a Blue Jay?

You have two choices in sailtrack Bronze or Stainless Steel. Bronze sailtrack is available from Bristol Bronze in 5/8" or 7/8", matching cars are available too (www.bristolbronze.com). Or S.S. sailtrack is available from West Marine in both 5/8" and 7/8" sizes, with the cars as well (www.westmarine.com).
Hope this helps,
Rick

Thanks that should help considerably. What about a pivoting stainless steel piece of some sort for the bottom of the mast to connect to the mast step? I can't remember the correct name of it right this scecond. Randall

Randall,
Bristol bronze carries a large assortment of supplies, as far as a mast-step is concerned, check out their part #BB 1389 & BB 1289
They have a mast step shoe & clamp, but I have not seen a mast-step hinge in this catolog, check out there website.
