View Full Version : Looks like she could actually be a very nice "FREE boat"! Someone jump on this...

This actually looks like it could be way above the typical "free boat." Looks like it could be a pretty sweet ride, actually. Wish I were closer. Even if I were, I'm sure my wife would simultaneously execute involuntary committment papers and divorce papers if I took this thing on...

Anyhow -

Bone Yard Boats has a pretty damn nice-looking 34-foot 1957 Atkins-designed cruiser that the owners are looking to give away "FREE to the right person." (http://www.boneyardboats.com/Archives/0053_Fall_2011/1957_ATKIN_34/default.aspx)

All the information is at the page linked above.

I hope someone jumps on this - from the pics, she looks a damn sight better than 95% of the "free" boats I've seen on the internet. Might be that one in a thousand true gems in the rough.

She does look like a real find!

Another one that looks like she may be coming up for free again is "Loafer IV". I remember her back in the '70's & early 80's in Atlantic Highlands NJ, ..... Absolutely beautiful example of a truely classic sport fisherman!

I think Paul needs her.
Or else Doug - he's looking for a live aboard.
