I will be the area during the ERR would love to do this race. I'm just looking to have a nice time, race in a new area on a beautiful boat, and sail with some fun people.
Six years of racing experience: 4 years weekly crewing on J24s, 2 years twice-weekly helming dinghies, 2-3 regattas/year on larger (J105, J109, etc.) boats.
Please PM me with a lead.

Is Dan short for Danielle? I might be tempted if yes?

It will be very hard to beat the stunning weather and fabulous spectacle of last year's regatta.
I sailed on a friend's boat and had a wonderful time on the helm the day before the race sailing up Eggemoggin Reach: flat water, good breeze, one tack close-hauled all the way from the western end, under the bridge and onward to Babson Island. The sailmaker who made the sails made tiny adjustments and we watched the speedo climb up to seven plus knots. He was thrilled, the sails were the nicest I've seen and the boat felt powerful, unstoppable. Just one of those days you never forget.
Hope you can get a ride.

Who made the sails and what were they on?

Roy Downs for Snow Star and Star Song. AFAIK, he's also made sails for Q. Foster's Concordia.

Good luck finding a ride. I sailed the ERR last year and it was an excellent day. Beautiful and fun. If you show up at the captains meeting in the morning, you might get lucky.

Thanks for that link to the photos! I hadn't seen all those. Snow Star was in the ERR class with the Concordias. Number 2240 with the red white and blue spinnaker. I'm the guy in the ugly red shirt/green vest/yellow hat outfit trimming the spinnaker from her windward rail amidships.

I might try that - a couple six packs always adds a bit to the package.

Some Tanqueray or Bombay Gin with some lobster rolls might sweeten the selection process?

I am the guy on Sea Hawk with the stick up his ass! :) Paul, AKA Razorback, takes some excellent pictures. He missed the shot of leebowing the Kings Point Schooner during the Camden Feeder Race, I guess he was busy.

I couldn't find Snow Star in any of the photos. Which photo?

Four ERRs, thousands of photos reviewed by many different photogs and at last... one small image of my boat! Number 12...I'm the little black yawl overtaking Vela and a Concordia! (Yeah, right!)

I'll be back up in Maine the same time this year, and would love to get a ride for the ERR or any of the feeder races.
Let me know if anyone is looking for crew.
