From Jalopnik:

This is a Porsche with 10,000 bullet holes (http://jalopnik.com/5814011/this-is-a-porsche-with-10000-bullet-holes)

Matt Hardigree — After the engine of his Porsche 911 decided to die (and take much of the cooling system along with it in some kind of powertrain suicide pact), the owner considered the $20,000 repair job and instead decided to donate the car to a non-profit. A non-profit dedicated to protecting gun rights. Let's find out what happens when you pump a car with 10,000 rounds of hot lead.

Who hasn't wanted to take a few shots at a 911, even an older model, after years of dealing with Porsche drivers? They probably owe us one. So rather than spend more on the car than it was worth, it was nice of this particular owner to donate it to charity.

In this case, the charity is Commonwealth Second Amendment (Comm2A), a group dedicated to "bringing some sanity to Massachusetts gun laws."

Everything from black power pistols to a Browning M2 (twin .50BMG):

Video goodness as well. Clearly the people firing need to improve their accuracy.

Can't tell what year it is, but it looks like a 997 (latest model).
Always preferred the air-cooled cars anyway, but it's a shame to see a nice car go to waste.

A statement that surely stands alone.

After the engine of his Porsche 911 decided to die (and take much of the cooling system along with it in some kind of powertrain suicide pact)I'd suggest that maybe events happened the other way around. . .

Another reason I prefer the air-cooled 911's.

They look like 996 wheels.
From what I read, they have unfixable rear main seal problems and a habit of scoring the bore in one or two particular cylinders leading to oil consumption, seizing and general engine failure issues.
Its a shame , because I used to aspire to a 997 C2 or 4 S.

Wasteful, like the guys who busted up guitars in the 60s. I find Toyota and Volvo drivers considerably more annoying than the Porsche guys.

I did have a unique experience yesterday, one for the books. A guy in a 760 directly in front of me actually accelerated away from the stop signs with verve. A miracle.

Yeah but verve in a Volvo still needs a calender to measure the acceleration:D

I'm not Lew but - 3 times.

How far downrange? Just like on TV, automatics never hit anything.

Teach them about waste and irresponsibility.
Considering the family ethic and the way we live and the fact that everything we have is old or recycled in some way, old house , old cars , old boats ,old furniture yadayada...I don't know what else I could do, maybe some subliminal technique with a tape whispering under their beds at night.

I think Mr Newt had his tongue in his cheek.

Surprising no one is talking about taxes, and write off values. Essentially it's people who pay ax that paid for this
