All,

I just need to know if epoxy will stick to this with no problem. I made the mistake on my stitch and glue, of scarfing the panels together with wood glue. It's extremely solid and not possible to separate the panels now so I would have to cut new ones.

I'm not concerned with this structurally as I said, it is extremely sturdy. I just wasn't sure if when I put my first coat of epoxy on and then start glassing it would cause problems. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

shouldn't be a problem, but I would test it first

As it's wood glue and on a scarfing, I am guessing that the glue line is really small. So I wouldn't worry about it, it will glue well.
It glue on your plywood, which is not glued with epoxy ;)

Epoxy glues atop liquid poly residue just fine. The test is at the link.

Bob, thanks that interesting...
I see that you've said no high pressure was put on the resorcinol and it did hold well?

Thank you so much all for the information! I was really worried I would have to scrap my current build and start fresh with new panels. It's very strong and I'll continue on as planned. Thanks so much again.
