I'm looking for plans for building a traditional English or Welsh coracle. I have seen references to Hornell's books, but they are out of print and hard to come by.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance,

Zacko

You might want to ferry over to the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle http://www.cwb.org/ -- we've got a coracle hanging in the main boathouse.

Here's a web site: http://www.tywi-coracle.co.uk/ -- you can order a 'how to build' video from them. Since it's British, its probably PAL video instead of NTSC video, which means you'll either need a PAL VCR or need to get somebody to convert it (there's several places here in Seattle that will do that, for a fee).
