Nope, it's not.

You expressed no opinion, thought, or idea about the subject.

In the past, people have been runoft (:D) for doing exactly that. Starting threads, with a "cut & paste", and not adding any intellectual, or otherwise, comment or input.

If there's something you'd like to say about the image, just say it. Or, are you just waiting to see which way the crowd goes, and follow them?

I see two men. The man on the right wears an oxygen supply and a hat that indicates that he's a patriot of some kind. He's an older man than the man on the left. I don't know who he is.
The man on the left is John Boehner. John is near tears! We can only imagine why.

I think that Boehner has the good sense to know that if the government gets shut down, that he will bear a large part of the blame. He is keeping his lips tight as he is about to betray the tp'ers by compromising with the Dems to avoid that scenario.

He knows that he is between a rock and a hard place, his eyes are bloodshot, and he is probably thinking that he needs a drink.

So if you are a member of the Tea Party you are a hypocrite to be on Medicare? Though not certain, I'm pretty sure that the Tea Party wants a smaller more efficient government, but I have not ever taken that to mean no government, and no government programs. I wonder if you would see the "Tea Bagger" any differently if you were to discover that he was a War Veteran, and that the VA was supplying his oxygen? It seems to me that you are discriminating against someone that you don't even know.

I think they want smaller government, but I don't think that means that they want to abolish all programs or only those that do not effect them directly. More importantly, you are making assumptions about the Tea Party member from a carefully chosen photo and your attitude about him was dismissive without knowing anything about him. I think that to do that would make you no better that what it is that you accuse of the Tea Party.

the thread is open to comments

bachmann and tea party orginizers have been on tv recently saying anything less than 60 - 100 billion in cuts is unaceptable

Regarding # 57, “Maybe you should take some time to learn more about it first?”

Bachmann says she’s true to her anti-earmark pledge because she tried to get transportation projects (numerically the largest number of earmarks over the years) declared not earmarks. No one agreed. So, to everyone but Bachmann, her push for a new $600,000,000 four lane St Croix River bridge is an earmark.

We don't have the money! We need to trim the military, entitlement, the number of government workers, the salary and benefit of government workers. I (and I think the Tea Party) do not believe in printing money or increasing taxes when there is no money. If done it should only be done after the knife is taken to the entire budget including all entitlements.
