One might think that this thread belongs on the upper decks, but there is a catch:

That's a recently-released photo of Eva Braun, Adolf Hitler's mistress and then wife, who committed suicide with him at the age of 33. The photo is from her personal album, which was confiscated by the US army and has only now been made public.

From the looks of her arms, she didn't do much rowing.

I also noted she shaved her legs (I think)...I thought it was unusual for Europeans to do that?

I wonder if she had any idea what her hubby was guilty of?

All the Germans knew what he was up to, I'm sure she did too.

I actually think that many Germans SHOULD have known but averted their eyes (as it were)...that is what I'm speaking of

I see the same things happening here (to a lesser extent of course)

I saw that photo online this morning and also thought, "Hey, that's a nice lapstrake."

For your listening pleasure: David Lindley. "He would have loved you, more than Eva Braun."

I was at a party while attending Ft.Lewis college in Durango, where Cherry Creek trustifarians went to practice hippyness. I met a woman who looked just like Eva and told her so, I meant it as a compliment. She did know who Eva was so I explained it very bluntly, instead of just saying she was a famous German actress. She actually got a bunch of guys to come over and tell me I should leave the party.

Hey! That's exactly what Eva would have done!

Well the song I posted above was written by Danny O'Keefe, supposedly about an ex-girlfriend. It was not intended to be complimentary. :)
