The one called 'perfect spinnaker set'... They must have known it before it was up and set. Could this have been intentional?

Perfect is not all the way up. This is probably about the time they realized the tack was a little high, the luff a little short. Easy enough to do if no one is looking up.

Probably not. The mistake was probably recognized during the hoist, but they decided to leave it that way. The time it would take to drop, rerig, hoist and set would cost more time than sailing on with the embarrassing set.

Been on a boat where that happened. Very embarrassing if it works at all.
