Is there a version of the H12 1/2 for plywood construction? Now don't get all worked up ;) I will need to trailer it.
What is the draft and displacement for an original 12 1/2 anyway?

Bolger designed one

Or cold-mold Joel White's CB version. Trailering the deep keel 12 1/2 would present some interesting launch ramp challenges.
I remember Bolger's plywood knock-off in an old issue of SmallBoat Journal - of sadly mourned memory. It was to be the same general size and rig with perhaps some of the fine behavior, but none of the just-so Herreschoff looks.

I think both the Haven and the Herreshoff 12 1/2 Footers displace about 1400 lbs. The Haven drafts about 18 inches with the board up and 30 with it down. I think the draft on the original is 30 inches.

you can use the haven plans to do a plywood lapstrake version, but personaly I think you would be better off cold molding it.

Go to "builders" Roger Mullette, and there is a picture there on it during the building process. Where are you from. I grew up in Pymble, NSW.
