But last week we were breaking heat records.

I want my sunshine.

It sure is wet up here in Santa Cruz, windy too, gusts to fifty this morning. A little mud is sliding down here and there, no telling what kind of trouble if it keeps up for a week like they're saying.
The good news is it's not cold, 55-60

It should be a wake up call for the Yankees, they should see it about Christmas eve.

We're having a bit of a letup now, but it's only a tease. At least it hasn't been blowin' here, rain + wind is no fun at all.

Buy a bag of trail mix, close your eyes, sit back in a good old fashioned rocking chair and you will be there.

I hear a paper table place mat with a chart on it works okay.

Seven straight days of rain now. I'm dreaming of a DRY Christmas!

"Hey, we need more eucalyptus for those finicky koalas, and tell that damned bird; I don't care how good he is at finding land, if he craps on my car one more time, he's history!"

Laguna Beach has been closed by flooding, not the street, but the city. We just had about 3 minutes of uninterrupted lack of rain here. God it feels good!

"Rats! I hate rats! Go ahead and let them on. They'll just find their way aboard anyway."

At least it ain't snowing, and the temp is over 50. We're even experiencing a moment of sunshine.

"Oh crap, you know, in the light of day, this thing is starting to look like Raw Faith. I'll use a different NA next time!"
