    Squeak, 1999-2010, RIP

My little Siamese cat just died.

No time for a final trip to the vet; her heart stopped.

Poor little thing. She wasn't the brightest cat, but very sweet natured, gentle and loyal.

Eleven years of a good life with you and a natural departure. Lucky little thing.

Very sorry Andrew.... in my house, our animals are part of our family... and in yours I am sure the same is true.

Big bummer, and at a very unfortunate time of year for it.

In the US this perverted idea of “blood and soil” over “constitutional principles” is the most radical and anti-democratic and anti-Conservative idea I have heard in my lifetime.

Sad news but at least she didn't suffer. Losing a pet without warning is always a shock.

Our cat, Fergus, died of heart failure a couple of years ago. We knew about his condition but he seemed to be improving so it still came as shock.

                Ouch.

We have never been without a cat for long - somehow, when there is a vacancy, a cat has always turned up - no two the same.

It's hard to figure out how to type the appropriate sad whimpering noise. My Victor is a '99 model too, and it makes me aware of how limited the warranties on these things are. Best wishes to you and yours. Some say an octagonal box is traditional.

Very sorry, Andrew - particularly poignant for me as Oystagirl and I are currently negotiating the transformation of our house into a proper home (I'm firmly convinced the latter status requires a cat).

What are you doing about it?
