Dayton, Emmer Face Recount in Minnesota Governor Race.
But the good thing is, that both the state house and senate are now a republican majority. Guess you can change the color of our state now.

I do not mind the law at all. But the last one was a small nightmare. All the legal wranglings and all the corruption. I wonder what this one will hold?

Please, head on over to Wisconsin, but now that Feingold is gone, they might not be so happy to have another Dem?

State law requires a recount if the vote is within 0.5%. It is, barely. It's mainly a formality in this case though, unless somebody really screws up. Dayton's margin is something like 9000 votes. Franken's was what, 300? Almost nothing. Legal wrangling might make a difference with an extremely small margin, but with half a percent, it's highly unlikely. Let's hope both sides can restrain themselves.
While the last recount was certainly tedious and unpleasant, if you know of any evidence of "corruption", tell us about it with links to credible sources. Otherwise, I suspect you just didn't like the outcome. As far as can tell, it was as honest as anything run by human beings. Coleman finally conceded, remember.

But hurray for Patty Murray! At least WE won't have a recount, and we will stay blue!

Perhaps we should secede from the union.
