Hi Folks,Now that I've gotten the support from my wife ("just build the damn boat!") I'm proceeding slowly with my 18' Simmons. This weekend I rough cut out the floorboards using sapele mahogany. My 1st question for those of you that have done this before me, is do you recommend cutting the bevels while doing the finish cuts for the floors or wait to cut the bevels until the floors are attached to the strongback and can be tested with a batten board?This is my 1st attempt at building a boat - or even owning a boat for that matter, and I'm excited!Thanks for those of you that have done such a fine job documenting your builds with photos, they really help understand the language and the process.- Don
