    Life on the Mississippi

Published in 1883, this book was the first manuscript ever submitted to a publisher in typewritten form.

    Thought that kinda interesting.

I'm reading it and enjoying it now. First Mark Twain I've read since college; sorta nice to come back to him after so long. The text is free on kindle and online at googlebooks.
Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
