"Mia" was built at Moodies in 1960. The hull, teak, wedge seam and since that year, the paint never shown so much as a crack. In the mid 80's we were hired to wood her, gave her a new face lift and in 1990 after she suffered a fire from an over heated diesel stove we rebuilt the companion way from the galley aft. The current owner has had her since 1965 and today I was invited to a going away party. Shes been sold to a party in Victoria, BC. Canada and will be leaving Orcas Island in the coming days. Boat joinery really doesn't come better than this.
