Looking for suggestions...

... for what will be my "winter" (I think they only use that term down here to avoid confusion) boatbuilding project.

Some of the ones I'm already considering are:

Gartside's Flashboat, or his clinker pram

Oughtred's MacGregor (Maybe I'd try traditional clinker?).

I'd rather not do S & G or strip/glass/epoxy if I can help it- less epoxy is better.

Any other "neat" boats out there?

What do you want to do with it. Do you do any flat's fishing. Bateau.com has a new design clle an extreme flats boat that only draws 2" at design weight. I have been looking at it for river use.

Why don't you try a birchbark canoe? That would be pretty neat and kinda fun.
