Here’s an interesting piece of street art.

From the article:

“The first calls came into the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Monday morning. Something weird was on the pedestrian bridge near the Tom Stuart Causeway.
A deputy went out and found four life-sized cardboard cutouts lined up, resembling the classic Evolution of Man series. Only in this version, a fourth figure stood upright, pointing a handgun at the others.”

give a chimp a gun and he would use it to kill if it knew how.
many people behave simply animalistic as they are taught they all came from chimps in school.
So they are simply behaving true to their inner nature, desires, tendencies. Dumb brutish men raging at the world and each other.

Utopian peace does not exist in the hearts of men.
IT is every mans hand against anothers, survival of the fittest just like Darwinian evolution says and is taught to the youth.
We form into groups for self protection or to 'belong' to something we think important to our future or some greater good.

On the battlefield we fight for the man next to us, ourselves or loved ones at home. Not for ideologies spoken aloud by war mongering politics.

I'm sure similar graffiti has been done, Mrleft, but this story ran in the local media last week and I'm familiar with that area. If you're thinking this is an old story re-hash or one of those e-mail type forwards that's been circulating and want to check it out, there's an e-mail address and phone number for the staff writer that covered it at the bottom of the story.

[QUOTE=sdowney717;2677073]Utopian peace does not exist in the hearts of men.

But it does exist in our minds. Now if we could only all agree, but we're only as peaceful, generous and compassionate as we feel we can afford to be, then the reptilian area of the brain takes over.
