Does anyone have opinions and helpful info on either Tracy OBriens Kayleigh or Stambaugh's 18' redwing design? I'm looking to build a small power cruiser and enjoy the look of both designs. A couple of concerns would be affordable price, tow weight, and ease of assembly. I have experience with stitch and glue kayaks, I'm currently working on a couple of prams, and of course I'm thinking of a more challenging project for down the road already. All input is appreciated.

I think they have both been covered in back issues of Woodenboat. Do a search.

Think I remember that Kayleigh is a simpler and lighter boat than Redwing.

Glen-L has similar boats to the Kaleigh that were also designed by Tracy O'Brien.
