A word about boatyards

I just splashed Snoose after a week in Seaview West boatyard at Shilshole (Seattle). Again, as in previous years, I can't say enough good about the yard and the people who work there. I know not everyone always has a good experience with boatyards, but I have always found the people at the Seaview yards to be very helpful, accomodating and pleasant (even in the presence of occasional knothead owners). So I just want to say thanks to Roland, Tom, Howard, Kirsten, and several others whose names I don't know.

Then to top it off, my bill was less than I was expecting. Not something I want to do every month, but not a bad experience.

I had a very nice experience at a boat yard in Saverna Park, Maryland several years ago, Cypress Marine. They bent over backwards to help this Midwesterner when I picked up a junky boat that a customer had stored at their yard. They were great!
