    Cool octopus in the shrimp pot....

    ...and not surprisingly, no shrimp.







    Not nearly as important as whether or not Regan was a liberal, but certainly more exciting.

    I'd a killed it for food or bait, but don't know how.

                              I've found a video showing divers biting them between the eyes. Kills'em fast.

                                  A hard hit between the eyes should do it, like killing a fish with a bonker. That's where their brain is. I'm sure a marline spike pointy end first would do the job admirably.
                                  I'll just take my chances with those salt water joys.

                                      The mantle (as part of the head and thorax) contains the creature's "lungs". When everted that organ is exposed to air as the creature cannot retain any water to breathe.

                                          We just drag 'em out of the pot and cut the head off making sure the eyes are included. Whats left cooks up or pickles really nicely.
                                          Bald, ugly, not too bright but incredibly sexy in an unattractive sort of way....

                                                      They are actually really smart and when everyone talks about Chameleons and their freaking ability to change colour, octopusses will probably laugh about their vain attempt in camoflage as they can even reproduce checker boards.

                                                      His/her orange colour is probably because he/she was a bit angry about being hauled out.
