Going 35mph with a new 25hp (stepping down from50mph 40hp)when the engine jumped the bracket and went into the sea. Ihttp://farm5.static.flickr.com/4025/4674845561_a0330a369f.jpgnstantly I was spinning in reverse clockwise circles. Paddled to shore and muscled the engine back on and got her running and limped home. One of the hand screws is broken.I had not bolted it yet cuz I wanted to work out the jack height. This morning, no spark and my feet are cut from barnacles and every thing elce is black and blue. Should have taken the sailboat out instead.

Could have been infinitely worse. Did you have a lanyard on it?
