an unknown canoe company

i have a canoe which is proven to be quite old. it is cedar planked and at some time held canvas. it was made by the company Armstrong & Galbraith Inc. I KNOW NOTHING OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Nat Hammond (www.vmsl.com) has two Armstrong & Galbraith catalogs listed, one from 1930, the other from 1936. It is listed in the Marine Equipment section, so it may be that they were a dealer, not a builder.
