Wow these guys are fast. I called yesterday after lunch and ordered a gallon of paint. (semi-gloss white) It arrived here by 2 pm. And much cheaper than ordering the same thing from Jamestown.

I love doing business with small family-style firms like Kirbys! The last time I placed an order with them, I also paid for a Kirby hat -- to the envy of the other builders around here.

I sent them a drawdown from their paint with serious chalk like lumps in it; never did get an explanation. Had to throw the paint away.

I've been using Kirby's for a few years now and have been very happy with the products and service. I'm a lousy painter but with a bit of Penetrol added to Kirby's paint my projects come out looking great. I also buy red lead from them which is a very high quality product.

When I was in SEA I found them just about the only folks that would really pack things to survive the APO mail system....and Schindler at T-88 (except one time...one of the T-88 gallon jugs split open , must have been a helluva jolt, and really messed up some mail). Those folks at the Saigon post office are still cursing me.
