A 58-foot fishing boat, the Pacific Bully, reportedly fishing for sardines, ran aground early Tuesday morning, leaving four crewman stranded near the beach.
Probably get towed off on this evening's high tide.

Looks like the Pacific won.
Think the cop could walk a bit closer, down the beach, rather than stand there with binoculars? ;)

Lucky it wasn't a rocky beach up north...I wonder what happened.

I wonder what happened
This time of year the 'dines are often right up near the beach and the guys will make their sets really close in....
But the net's still on the boat so it was most likely a combination of fog and fogheadedness. :D
It made it to youtube......

Perhaps one of Paladins GPS jammers was operating in the area?

Looks like a Delta to me.
Correct.
Incident reports says she had 40 tons of 'dines on board.

If you are speaking of Huntington Beach CA, Surf City USA, there is a long shallow bar there. Every so often a boat will end up on the beach. Back in the late sixties a power yacht, belonging to a famous singer whose initials were FS, went embarrisingly on the beach there. The boat was new and the skipper went for a nocturnal joy ride with only a shapely lady as crew. The skipper had been tipping the tequilla bottle a bit and missed the spar bouy that warns of shallow ground. Next morning the boat was high and dry. The embarrishing point was that a banner on the stanchions read "Navigation By Bendix"!
