Well it got some wood in it. But Colvin does enjoy some popularity on this forum.

For all that I really do like Colvin's stuff, and the junk rig is eminently practical for a cruiser ... I've never liked how junks look. If I were to invest that much in a boat, I'd have to have it not only be pragmatic, but a decision that involved my heart and imagination.

TomF; what's wrong with a nice lorcha? Put a running sprit and a jib on it and it'd be a fine looking boat indeed.

OK, the Gazelles were never 'pretty' but I like them anyway.
