Dear New England forumites,

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced rental space - garage, barn, shed etc, around Portsmouth NH, in which I could keep my boat, some tools and some timber? I am moving from the midwest to Boston with my Youkou-Lili, a Vivier design that I built when living in Miami FL. I am trying to get organized with a place to go sailing and fishing at the weekends and have been gazing lovingly at aerial photographs of Portsmouth and environs. Any help or contacts would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Patrick

There's a lot of helpful people at www.kpyc.net or you could try the boatyard in Kittery for leads.

A friend who lives near Portsmouth keeps his boat here in Portland. He'd rather drive 45 minutes and sail out of his slip than stay in Portsmouth and motor for an hour or more to get to good sailing grounds.

I'd love to see your Youkou Lili sometime.

Gents:Thanks very much for these useful pointers. I will definitely follow up.
Steven:I would love show you my Youkou Lili. I seem to remember you were building a similar Oughtred design. It seems a session on the water with these two together would be in order. Are you on the Maine coast?
