Hello all , new member here, what a great place to visit!
Does anybody know where i could find a drawing of the large wittholz "liveaboard" cat boat ( i think 29 ft) on line if possible?

Ken Hankinson used to sell plans, but has retired now I believe.

Any help greatfully received....

Trish....the plans will go out Monday morning. There are several ways to build the boat and several sail plans and part are reflected on study drawings....

Thank you so much chuck, the profile drawings look good!
That cat rigged version looks a little intimidating on this size of boat, looks as though
it could have some fierce weather helm?
I guess reefing early is recommended.
Thank you again for the help .

I have the study plans, too. They show sections for both chined plywood and round bilge. Interesting to compare the two versions.

What is the beam of this boat?
Has anyone ever sailed on a big cat boat such as this one? Perhaps someone could commant on how these larger boats sail , particularly in gusts or stronger winds.
These boats are not seen here ,but they sure look good!

I sailed on a round bilge model but it was rigged marconi and with a fixed keel. the builder built it as a live-aboard for Florida and Caribean waters. it wasn't the fastest boat around, but it sailed well and was comfortable.

Here's a link to a well known big catboat. Check out the Photos:

Going by memory Liveaboard's beam is 12.5 feet.
