All info is appreciated.

There was a series of articles in WB# 153, 154 & 155 about building a Lightning. I don't own one, but I am considering getting one someday as I grew up in Skaneateles, NY, where #1 was built.
Also, the Lightning class website, which has Plans and Specifications (http://www.lightningclass.org/technical/specifications.html)

The Lightning Class Association will supply any and all construction details you may require and the cost is very reasonable. A friend of mine recently got an old wooden Lightning and ordered the plans, etc to help in the resurrection.
The Ligntning webb site also offers lots of info on construction and rigging.

I don't have one but my sailing club has a fleet of Lightnings - maybe 20. Several of them are wood and they do quite well in racing the glass boats.

Heres mine, finished it last year and have been sailing it ever since. It has already had two trips to Maine. I would glad to answer any questions you may have, especially on rigging. Also, Dave Nickels in Michigan is a great source of information and expertise. I couldn't have done mine with out his help.

Carl, that is one good-looking boat.
Is that photo taken at the sailing club?
