Has anybody used this material. It does not indicate about it's outdoor weather resistance. I would like to use it on end grain to prevent water seepage and therefore rot.

I have no knowledge or experience with that product. I'd suppose that it's like several other products in being a heavily solvented epoxy. Gougeon Brothers did some testing on the properties of their epoxy when heavily thinned with solvents. What they found was that the resulting cured solid was both weaker and more permeable than cured neat epoxy. It's as though when the epoxy cures and the solvent evaporates, you are left with a porous epoxy sponge. Their advice is that if you want epoxy to penetrate, reduce its viscosity with heat.

Here is what the Rot Doctor found when he tested similar products: http://www.rotdoctor.com/test/penetration.html
