Hi all,

I am looking for a design for sailing/rowing around the 12' mark suited to strip plank construction. Anyone have any favourite links?

TIA

Andrew

A quick question for you if I may, Andrew. How much do you really want to row it?

And how much do you want to sail?

A little known fact revealed in Iain Oughtrd's design catalog: most of his designs in the 12' range (+ or -) can be strip planked. Write to Iain and request his current catalog and ask him to include information on any designs which are not included in the catalog. Ask him which of his boats would suit your needs.

Guillemont (11'-5") and Tammie Norrie (13'-5") are closest to 12'-0" and can be strip planked.

A strip planked Tammie Norrie...

Try www.compumarine.com (http://www.compumarine.com)

Their 12 foot Classic Dinghy is designed for oars and sail. Looks pretty nice:
