US Economy in the Greek Crystal Ball

    It's all Greek to me.

Does the Greek economic collapse predict the US economic future?

It doesn't *predict* anything for the U.S.

    It probably doesn't foreshadow anything.

However... it certainly is a cautionary tale.

You wouldn't like Greece, pfjr. They are socialists. The real thing, not the boogiemen of US right wing rants.

Yeah, but they all work for the gubmint, they march with red flags, and they are more anti-American than anyone else in Europe. If you went there you would have to restrain yourself...

Red flags, that would be OK, Osborne Russell accused me of doing the same thing regularly. Anti-American? no problem, I speak 2 other languages: Pig Latin, and Ebonics, plus my mother told me I was charming.

From what I've read, the Greek situation is strongly exacerbated by the struggles of their middle class... which is far weaker in Greece, than in many westernized nations.... and the austerity budget is hitting the middle class even harder.

It would be well to consider that, in the context of the Paul Ryan 'Roadmap for America'. A proseperous middle class isn't merely desirable, for economic and political stability... it's essential.
