I'm about to manufacter chain plates for my river side dingy. Do any forumites have pictures of chain plates for a 11+ foot dingy that they can post?
I need some ideas
Thanks

Well, what do the plans call for? Here are some off the shelf ideas from Dwyer Mast. Cheap enough to make me ask, why build your own?

You might be able find it as a stock item as well.
Shape the top end to a 1/2 in radius, so it's a semi-circle. Drill a hole, appropriately sized, concentric with the semi-circle. Then polish/buff to your heart's delight and you should be set.
Don't forget to drill holes to fasten it to the boat.
That should do you. Prolly overkill for an 11-foot dinghy.

Thanks for all your responses. I have already arranged a deal with a machine shop. This might be over kill for this job, but the relationship will be handy in the future if I continue in this line of work.
A few more pieces of hardware and this tub should be in the water.

Oh, you said 11'! not 111'. You can only see part of this chainplate. It's from Lions Whelp. She was launched a couple of weeks ago. I missed it, I was still at the family reunion. Make sure to bring your camera on launching day.
