It occurs to me that there must be "a few" people on this forum old enough to have tripped to the original the day after it was pressed to vinyl...

Oh, my - The Airplane was the soundtrack of my youth (all of it I can remember, anyway ;)). I was a little too young to be a real hippie, though. Have you listened to Jorma Kaukonen's early acoustic stuff with Hot Tuna? Amazing guitar work.
