I've (as I always do) skipped the closing ceremony. As far as I'm concerned they closed with the hockey medal ceremony....

AAAAAHHHHH!!!! The local network went to the new, and overhyped, " The Marriage Ref"at 10:30 and told us they'd be back in an hour. I can't stand the way they've covered these games!

Shoulda been an IATSE guy. black shirt, black pants, big Maglite and Leatherman on the belt. Sweating profusely while he worked the problem.

A friend of mine was worrying about the stage manager freaking out over the opening ceremony tech failure. Another friend -- professional stage manager of the 1st water -- made the note that stage managers don't freak out. They fix the problem....

...and after that, they they get even. :D:eek:
