I was on site in Fort Pierce FL yesterday for the launch of Reuel's new schooner. Pretty as a peach to my eyes. More photos are available at

Does anyone have any more info on the progress/date of release for this design? I'm most interested in Buehler's Pilgrim, and this looks like it could possibly be even better! Or pics of the fore cabin?

These plans are available now. There are pictures of the forward cabin on an older post at http://boatsmith.blogspot.com/ I will be visiting Reuel next week and will take some more photos David

I love Parker's designs. I like the fact that he designs, builds and sails his own boats, nothing like practical experience.

Is it just me, or the camera angles, but its seems like the height of the cabin relative to the height of the sternsheets would make for some tough visibility forward for the skipper at the tiller? I pose this as a question, since my very limited sailing experience is basically as railmeat aboard others boats and futzing about with Sunfish and such.

If you want extreme shoal draft and standing head room in the cabins...something has to give. I hope we get to see some sailing photos.
