I remember being picked up hitch hiking years ago by a fella with a bottle opener screwed onto his dash board. Sed it was so he didnt have to use two hands to open the bottle thereby avoiding a dangerous driving moment.
Some places drinking and driving is considered a birthright.

Michaels note above about the bottle opener on the dashboard......
I was assigned to a navy team setting up an electronics listening post in Cambodia. The hut was airlifted in by Helicopter...and all our supplies for the week were also airlifted in....
It was during the rainy season......not much room in the huts....and I was without "clearances" by the Navy, so I was asked to remain ouside....in a pup type tent, in the rain....with cans of rations.......
I went to my makeshift wet tent, with my little sterno heat source.....reached in my back pocket and removed the oversized P-38 and opened my cans and heated them.......the Navy Weenies didn't have a can opener so had to hack their cans open in their dry hut and eat their meals cold.......It wasn't until the mission was over that they discovered I had a can opener.
